We've Got Something Old and Something New,
and Something Just For You!
The Carnival is the fall community building fundraiser. The Carnival offers Game Booths hosted by parents from each class room. There is a miniature golf tee, the pokey, a duck pond and the favorite Lollipop Tree! There is a General Store filled with arts & crafts and other parent donated items. A CCCFDP Fire Engine car will join the fun.
There is a food court with hot dogs, ice cream, cotton candy, nachos and International Foods baked by BV parents. We hold a Bake Sale filled with goodies baked by our BV community. The kids can join in the fun with a Cake Decorating Contest.
And then there are the Confetti Eggs!
But will there be a Haunted House?

Face Painting Artists Wanted!

Cake Decorating Contest
All kids are encouraged to bake and decorate a cake. All cakes will be awarded a prize and then available for purchase at the Bake Sale or awarded in the Cake Walk. Cakes should be turned in on Friday, October 26th, or no later than Saturday, October 27th, at 10 am in the Family Room. The cake should be covered with plastic wrap to protect the design . . .but not obscure for judging.
Please,
no cakes that need refrigeration!

 Can You Cook? 
Lots of food is always served at the Carnival, from hot dogs to cotton candy. Each year we also serve International Foods prepared by our BV families. And, a Bake Sale featuring favorite treats baked by our BV community.
These events couldn't happen without you!
Please consider preparing and donating your favorite recipes.
International Food should be dropped off in the Family Room on Sataurday, October 27th before 1:00 pm. Baked Goods may be dropped off in the Family Room on Friday, October 26th from 5:00 pm til 7:00 pm or Saturday morning from 9:00 am til Noon.

Confetti
Eggs!

A tradition at the BV Carnival, the Confetti Eggs open the carnival with a dazzling display of color. The more eggs, the more color.
Please bring in your empty eggshells to the office. Here's how--crack a small hole in the end of the egg (about the size of a nickel), shake out the egg, rinse the eggshell well and place back in the carton to dry.
