Apr 14th - Peer Issues: How do I help my child manage their relationships with their peers as they negotiated their social world?  How do we help our child  maintain their self esteem when they struggle to be accepted? We will provide tools to help you teach your child how to solve their problems and teach techniques for cummunicating empathy and support for your child during these challenging times.

Jan 20th - Learning Styles: What is your learning and communication style?  Do you and your child learn and communicate the same way?  How can you enhance your child's success in school and improve behavior by changing your approach when working with your child?

Feb 3rd - Behavior Part 1: When is behavior acceptable or not acceptable.  How do I establish appropriate behavioral rewards and consequences?  Effective approaches for managing acting out and unacceptable behaviors.  What are the variables affecting your success when implementing a behavioral management systems?

Feb 17th - Behavior Part II: What is your child trying to say? Understand the triggers that contribute to the frustrations and anxiety in children leading to acting out behaviors.  What has worked and what has not worked for you?  Using interactive group dicussions, you will have a chance to share issues and problem solve.

Mar 3rd - Transitions: Techniques and tools for developing organization skills to reduce stress and manage the transitions from home to school, work and other activities.  Help for managing homework and chores and other obligations in your life.  And what about having fun?

Cost: $25 per workshop, or pre-pay for the series of 5 workshops for $100 per person or couple

Time: Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

Minimum number of participants required = 15
