  Buena Vista Elementary has adopted Electronic communication as the primary method for communicating with families. All school district and school wide information will be available to families in an electronic format on the school and PTA websites. Electronic communications saves resource and monies that the school can use in other areas. For those families without Internet capability they can elect "paper" communications; sign up for this option at Welcome Back Day or in the School office. "Paper Families" will receive paper versions of school wide, district and community information in the Wednesday Envelope.

Planning an event or a program? Here are guidelines to help communicate the event or program to the BV Community.
Website: As you plan the event or program please review the information on the website and submit changes to Gwen Burchett and Judith Issermen at

. If there is no information on the website please submit information about the event or program so that it can be added. Submit event or program information at least 3 weeks prior to event
Flyers: You are allowed one paper flyer to be distributed via the Wednesday envelope. An electronic copy will be available on the PTA website, and link to eNews in the School Flyer section and/or event or program eNews article(s).
- Submit flyers 3 weeks prior to event or program
- All flyers are required to have principal approval. Submit for principal approval an electronic copy by the Wednesday prior to distribution.
- Suggest a child interactive flyer where appropriate
- Send approved electronic copy to Communications VP and eNews editor at

Directories are Here!
Directories were distributed in the November 18th Wednesday Envelopes.
The BV Elementary School Student Directory contains a listing of all phone numbers at our School and the District. In addition, the Directory lists the students in each class room. And, it contains an alphabetical Student-Parent Listing with addresses and phone number. Directories can be purchased in the office for $5. |
