12th Annual Buena Vista Family K-5 Science Fair
Date Changed: Tuesday, April 20, 2010 in the Multi-Use Room 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Deadline for entry is Friday, April 2nd
The purpose of the Science Fair is to encourage students to develop a greater interest in science and technology and to develop skills in critical thinking, research, problem solving and the use of the Scientific Method.

In keeping with BV's long-standing commitment to community outreach, this year's Jump Rope for Heart event is dedicated to the memory of Isidro Abon, beloved friend and long-time BV custodian. As you may recall, Sid passed away from a heart attack in 2008 and we would like to keep his legacy alive as we participate in this American Heart Association event. This year's Big Jump is Wednesday, February 24th, during lunch recess. All students will be encouraged to participate in grade level "jump offs", fancy long rope jumping, track jumping, etc. for the first 15 minutes of this recess time. This event is an appeal for support from the American Heart Association so even a dollar contribution would be greatly appreciated in honor of Sid.
