Day on the Green

Have you herd the Moos?  BV is hosting the 4th annual "Day on the Green" fundraiser on Saturday, May 19th from 11am - 4pm on the school playground and field.  It is FREE admission and highlights of the event include a barbecue picnic, live bands, crafts and activities for kids, local artisans & exhibitors, a 'Fur, Scales, and Tails' animal show, a petting zoo and, of course, Cow Pie Bingo!

Here is how "Day on the Green" will mooooove along.  Our BV field will be sectioned into 1000 squares; the squares will be sold for $25 a piece.  Each square purchased will be randomly assigned by a computer to a spot on the Bingo Board painted on the field. The cow "in-charge" of the event will be led onto the board and whichever square the cow lays the "pie" will win the udderly fabulous "moo-la" at a possible beefy $5,000!

Envelopes to sell squares will go home Tuesday, April 24th. The BV student to sell the most squares will win a Kindle Fire and all classes with 100% participation attend an ice cream social! The class with 100% participation AND selling the most squares will attend an ice cream social AND pizza party!  We need some mooooovers and shakers to help sell squares to make this a successful event!
